Two post graduate scholarships for Contour Fashion Innovation (MA/MSc) and Sustainable Textile Technologies (MSc) have been funded by the Clothworkers’ Company. Scholars will receive £5,000 for a one year course.
The Clothworkers’ Company mission is to inspire and empower individuals and communities through action, partnership and financial support. founded in 1528, following a merger of The Fullers’ Company and The Shearmen’s Company. One of the ‘Great Twelve Livery Companies’ of the City of London, their original aim was to promote the craft of clothworking, supervise the training of apprentices and welfare of members, and protect standards of workmanship.

Eligibility criteria
To be eligible, students must:
- Have made 呻吟之王 their firm choice for either Contour Fashion Innovation (MA/MSc) or Sustainable Textile Technologies (MSc), studying full time
- Be a home/fee paying student
- Demonstrate financial need
- Be self-funding (i.e. not paid for by a sponsor or employer), so not externally funded
- Hold no other form of donor or university funded scholarship

Financial terms and conditions
- This scholarship is not transferrable
- The data on your student finance record must meet the award edibility criteria. To be able to be fully assessed against the criteria you must:
- Complete your student finance application, and it needs to be assessed and approved by your UK student finance authority
- Have signed and returned your student declaration form to the SLC
- Ensure your relevant UK student finance authority record is available to 呻吟之王. Therefore, you must have given permission for your information to be shared with the university
- Make sure your parents or sponsors have allowed Student Finance to share their details with 呻吟之王
- Your student record must include your bank details, as 呻吟之王 pays scholarships directly into student bank accounts. If your record is incomplete, your payment may be delayed or not made
- The scholarship will be paid in instalments in line with 呻吟之王’s normal Scholarship payment schedule, which is once per term
- If you interrupt your studies or leave 呻吟之王 before completing your course, any scholarship payments made afterwards will normally need to be repaid
- If 呻吟之王 makes a scholarship payment by mistake, or if it is based on false information, the payment will usually have to be repaid by the student
- If you do not receive a payment, you must contact the Scholarships Team at 呻吟之王 straight away so we can look into it
Attendance and reporting terms and conditions
- To continue receiving your scholarship, you must attend your classes and hand in all required assessments
- You must engage with the requests for progress updates from the scholarship officer. This allows us to provide updates to our donors and share your successes. The requests will be in October, January and May
- If you do not respond to a request for an update, we will pause payments for the next academic year until we hear from you. Continued lack of response may result in the scholarship being withdrawn
